When we share our experience of Jesus, the power of God works through His word on our lips. This doesn’t mean that everyone we witness to will receive Jesus. God has given people free will, and He will never force Himself on anyone. Rather, He is gracious, moving to persuade and convict, but leaving the decision to the person, for God wants sons, not slaves. As people listen to us, when we talk about Jesus, if their hearts are open, faith will arise within them, for faith comes by hearing. If you have never shared your faith with others in this way, let me encourage you to begin today, for I believe you will find that many are more interested than you might have thought, and some at least will want to know more. If you choose this path, which is part of your Christian calling, it will only be a matter of time before you start seeing people saved.
