Today's Early Church Wisdom
Only the disciples of Christ have pursued true wisdom, because they alone have Wisdom as their teacher, showing them by His example the way of life they should follow.

Resist the Devil!

If we would be happy, and live in spiritual abundance, it is imperative that we resist the devil’s lies. Look what happened to Adam and Eve. Sadly, Eve entertained the lies of Satan, and thus it was that he not only gained a foothold in her mind but was also able to influence her behaviour. She took the fruit, she gave some to her husband, and together they were robbed of all that God had for them. Do you want all that God has for you? Then resist! When Satan comes, as he surely will, be strong, be firm, be bold! Say to Him, “Get away from me Satan!” “Go!’ And he will flee. Don’t be a spiritual ‘walkover’. Recognise and resist! And what if we fall? None of us are perfect, and there will be times when we fail and we fall. But thank God, He has made a way of restoration, and calls us to repent of our known sins.
