Repenting Of Our Known Sins

If we are aware that we have been duped by the devil’s lies, and we have thought or done something wrong, we need only turn back to God in repentance and He will fully restore us, for His blood shed on the Cross of Calvary is fully sufficient to atone for all our sins, past, present, and future! Deliberate sin creates distance with God. For the first people it led to separation from Him, resulting in a great deal of unhappiness that has been the experience of humans ever since. Our happiness, just like the happiness of the first people, depends on our obedience. Whilst Adam and Eve trusted in God and walked with Him, they were entirely safe, but when they walked away, they were on their own. It’s the same for us. If we are to enjoy victory over our adversary the devil, we must stay close to God.
