Where Is Our Source?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer once warned that “Earthly goods deceive us into believing they can give us security,” yet Jesus exposes every false refuge and directs humanity back to wholehearted devotion to God alone. In a world increasingly marked by instability, technological dependence, spiritual deception, and fear of the future, Christ’s words remain not only relevant for today but essential for tomorrow, because they summon believers to active trust, a lived confidence that God is worthy of complete allegiance even when obedience is costly. It is not that God does not care about our material needs. Far from it! But He knows that it is only when we first seek His Kingdom that all will be well and done well. He, and He alone, is to be our Source of Supply.
