We have been reminded in our recent meditations that God is with us in our trouble, that we face our trials as conquerors, and that God is working on our behalf, even when this may not appear obvious. But how is He working? One of the greatest ways in which He supports us in difficulty is that He scatters our enemies, not always immediately, but in the wisdom of His time. We read in Deuteronomy 28:7, “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” I don’t know what challenges you are facing right now, but I encourage you to picture every ‘enemy’ that you are facing in your current situation, running from the presence and the power of the Almighty! Picture it, and do not let it go! For this is your spiritual reality, if you love and walk with Him. God has made you a conqueror, the standard has been raised, and He is working even now to rout your enemies!
