The Power of A Smile

Someone needs your smile

I remember once reading some research on church growth. Someone had examined the fastest growing churches and sought to identify the factors that led to growth. Interestingly, there was only one factor that was found in them all - the pastor smiled! How do you feel when someone smiles at you? I'm not talking about a fake smile, a smug smile, or a sneer! I mean a sincere, friendly, and appropriate smile. Only people with unresolved issues will dislike receiving such a smile. A smile is a double blessing: It's good for the smiler and for the smilee. Whilst some sacrifices may be costly, a smile costs us nothing, and yet it can bring the greatest blessings. Why not make an effort to smile at others today. If you decide to regularly practice smiling, it will become a powerful habit that greatlt increases your influence and impact. Believe it or not, there are people who need your smile today.
