The Greatest of Blessings

A final word

These eight Beatitudes are not eight steps to earn salvation. They are eight signs, or proofs, that you have been saved, that the life of God is at work in you, and that you have made a choice to live according to these eight timeless principles. They show us what it means to be spiritually prosperous, not wealthy in the eyes of men, but rich in the grace of God. Let the world chase after its treasures but let us seek the riches of Heaven. For these are the true signs of spiritual prosperity. Beloved, I ask you today: do these signs describe your life? Have you come to the place where you know your need for God? Have you mourned your sin, surrendered your will, and longed for His righteousness? If not, today can be the day. Come to Christ. There is a prayer on the ‘Home’ page that you can pray, giving you heart and life to Him. Come poor, and He will make you rich. Come hungry, and He will fill you. Come broken, and He will bind you up. And as you follow Him, these Beatitudes will not be a burden, but the greatest of blessings!
