What part would you like to play in revival? Times of revival can be exciting, and there is a blessing in being part of such a move. We may attend revival events, experience revival phenomena, and perhaps witness the miraculous and supernatural expressions of revival. But why be content with simply having been there? Why not become a carrier of revival? It’s a simple choice facing every disciple of Christ. To choose to be filled with the Holy Spirit as we daily walk and talk with Jesus, is to choose a life of personal revival. We may or may not be living in a time of revival, but it’s exciting and encouraging to know that revival can be in us. If we’re in a revival we may see amazing things, but unless the revival is in us, such things will cease when the revival fires subside. The question to ask ourselves is: Why not live in personal revival every day? It’s there for us if we want it. But we will have to pay the price, which is continuing prayer and a daily fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.
