Because God has planned our path, the obstacles put in our way will be overcome, if we choose to walk in that path. The same assurance cannot be said of other paths, though it must be said that God is good, and wherever one of His children has erred and strayed from their way, the Good Shepherd will seek them to bring them back. A life of total consecration will ensure that we prevail against every obstacle in our path, though we will certainly be opposed and will need to engage continually in spiritual warfare. We all need resilience to stand and to keep standing, as we patiently persevere, holding fast the promises of God. Speaking of the many challenges and tribulations that we will face along the path of our calling from God, the apostle Paul writes, “in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37, ESV). See yourself as more than a conqueror today!
