On Christmas Day, we look back on a year of increasing global upheaval, and we know from prophetic scripture that the coming will see further developments as we move closer to the return of Christ. In the midst of global uncertainty and instability, we celebrate the coming of One who brings peace, love, and the ultimate restoration of all things: Jesus the Messiah. The baby born in Israel 2000 years ago is now our risen Lord and Saviour, seated at the right hand of God our Father in Heaven. And He has promised to be with us and to guide us through these end-time events. Because of this, we are encouraging fellow disciples of Yeshua to stay close to Him in these days, taking time to be still and listen to Him at the start of each day, and then doing our best to walk and talk with Him as the day unfolds, bringing each of our questions and concerns to Him for His answer as they come up, inviting Him into our decision making, whether at our work, or in our families, or with our friends. In the Gospel story of Mary and Martha, Jesus said that there was nothing better that we can do than this. And I have observed that this is most certainly the case. I have seen lives restored, relationships healed, businesses built, and wealth of every kind generated as men and women have chosen to actively walk with Yeshua in this way. On this Christmas morning, let us choose afresh to be those men and women.
