There will be worship in the Millenium. The prophet Isaiah sees the nations going to the Temple to worship God. There will also be teaching and learning. There will be things to learn, not only about God, but about everything. Isaiah writes, “He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 2:3). Justice will also prevail on earth. There will be judgment and rebuke. That means there will be sin. Isaiah says, “He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people” (Isaiah 2:4). The descendants of the Tribulation survivors will need to be evangelised and discipled. They will have fallen natures and be capable of sinning. Hence, the need for judgment and rebuke. The rule of justice and of law will ensure a world of peace. Wars will cease and there will be global political peace. Isaiah describes it like this: “They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (Isaiah 2:4). While the Tribulation was war-torn, the Millennium will be peaceful. However, the nations will have to learn peace. The Bible says that Jesus will rule with “a rod of iron.” He’ll be the boss for sure.
