They Will Be Resurrected To Eternal Life

1,000 years before the wicked

The resurrection of the dead involves two different groups, each of which is raised at a different time. John says: “… the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation” (John 5:28-29). Daniel says: “… those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2). The resurrection will be in two parts. We’re looking at two very different groups of people: those who have decided to follow Jesus and as a result they are accounted righteous, and those who have not received Christ and are still in their sin. There’ll be a significant time gap between the resurrection of each group: 1,000 years to be precise. And during that 1,000-year period, the righteous dead will live and reign with Christ. Do you know which group you will be in? If not, you can decide it today. For eternal life is only a prayer away. Go to the Home page on this site and scroll down to the Sinner’s Prayer, which is simply a prayer in which you accept Jesus as your Saviour. You can pray your own prayer if you like. The moment you pray that prayer, you are born again and have passed from death to life. Then write and let us know that you have decided to follow Jesus!
