Whether or not we are currently in a revival that is happeining around us, it is exciting and encouraging to know that revival can be in us. If we’re in a revival we may well see some amazing things, but unless the revival is within us, those more dramatic happenings will stop when the revival fires subside. The question we must ask ourselves is this: Why not live in personal revival every day? It’s there for us if we want it. But we will have to pay the price, which is continuing prayer and a daily fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit. If, like me, this is the desire of your heart, I invite you to join me in a moment, as we open our hearts afresh together to receive the blessed Holy Spirit: Heavenly Father, we come to you with hunger in our hearts to be filled afresh with Your life-giving Holy Spirit. Fill us, we pray, to overflowing, that Your supernatural love and power will move in us and through us to extend Your Kingdom here on earth. May our lives be beacons of light in the darkness of this world, and may others be drawn closer to You through our witness. Amen
