Heaven’s financial lifestyle is first an attitude before it becomes an act. Firstly, we give all our financial and material resources to God. This is a transaction between us and Him, made privately in prayerful conversation. Then secondly, we deploy these resources as His Spirit directs us. Our giving is thus both inspired and directed by Him according to His kingdom purposes and His perfect will. Our position is that we have given God not merely 10%, the standard of the Old Covenant, but 100%, the standard of the New and better Covenant. We recognise that all we have comes from Him and belongs to Him. Our duty is to seek to be faithful stewards of all the resources that He has placed in our hands, small or great.
